Job Purpose

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to strengthen our Maintenance department. You will execute tasks related to preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure plant reliability daily.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce Oleon’s HSE policies, including permit-to-work, LOTO, and electrical safety procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure safe operation of electrical systems, substations, switchgears, and panels

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  • Perform inspections, servicing, and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and equipment failures

    • Emergency Response

  • Provide on-call support during breakdowns or emergencies
  • Lead power restoration efforts safely and efficiently

    • Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and compliance
  • Support audits by relevant authorities and internal teams

    • Collaboration & Support

  • Work with maintenance, production, and engineering teams
  • Provide guidance and training to junior technicians

    • Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and reliability improvements
  • Support electrical system projects and modifications

    • Others

  • Operate and supervise electrical installations
  • Comply with regulatory requirements

    • Candidate Profile

  • SPM / 'O' Level / Skills Certificate / Diploma in related field; valid Chargeman Certificate (minimum BO) from Suruhanjaya Tenaga
  • 3-5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or utilities
  • Hands-on experience with high / low voltage equipment, switchgears, transformers, motors
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and permit systems
  • Ability to work in hot, high, and physically demanding environments
  • Independent decision-making skills during emergencies
  • Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and team player
  • Willing to work shifts, on-call, and outside regular hours in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
