POSITION SUMMARY
- Contributes to defining Infrastructure Solutions product / solutions roadmap by consolidating global Voice of Customer data to define market solutions primarily oriented, but not limited, to data center industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure offering meets market needs.
- Defines product / solution requirements.
- Administer customer facing programs.
- Establishes and communicates benchmarks for competitive landscape to Product Management team.
- Identifies value proposition by customer type.
- Support Solution architects and Application engineers with solution proposals and technical studies.
- Infrastructure Solutions are complex products or solutions mostly related to prefabricated units which consists of Uninterruptible power, power distribution, cooling and white space infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Subject Matter Expert on Power Infrastructure Solutions for executive, marketing, and sales teams.Analyze Voice of Customer and provide intelligent and effective ideas, proposals or solutionsAnalyze cost and propose improvementsAnalyze competitor products, documenting strengths, and deficiencies in core functionality.Define, develop, and administer customer facing product evaluation programs.Engage with Services team to define and implement Power Solutions service offering.Gather information and analyze new trends and technologyGather and consolidate market intelligence by interfacing with Sales team and Solution Architects.Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new technology in Infrastructure Solutions offering.Perform and maintain patent reviews for new offerings. Document data and provide details while interfacing with legal team.Create and maintain Product Documentation including user manuals, quick start guides, and technical documentation. Provide support to regionalize documents as needed.Work with Product Marketing team on creation of White Papers, Application Notes, Case Studies, and Articles.Provide on-site critical customer consultations when required.Interface with other Vertiv product and engineering teams to coordinate integration with other hardware and / or software solutions.Provide training.QUALIFICATIONS
Graduated Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) plus 5 years relevant industry experienceStrong knowledge of relevant customer segmentsTechnical expertise to translate customer needs / pain points to solutionsStrong written / oral communication, especially in communicating customer needs and value propositionsEffectively communicates technical information and complex ideas to technically diverse audiences.Strong research and analytical skillsAdvanced knowledge in MS Office applications with specific emphasis on Excel, Intermediate knowledge of AutoCad.Informative knowledge about of BIM and CFD tools.Fluent in EnglishPlease note minimum and preferred requirements for education. This includes degree, specializations and certifications.PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
No special requirements. This is mostly office job with some traveling at meetings, conferences and other events. From time to time factory visit is required.TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED
