Job description

Requirements :

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years related working experience
  • Experience in working on a variety of different projects including high-rises offices, hotels and residential buildings, amenities (not limited to warehouse, factory and hospitals), shopping complexes and completed at least 3 projects from its inception.
  • Good leadership with an ambition to grow a team and the ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Good technical, contractual and statutory by-laws knowledge in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge in BIM (Building Information Modeling) would be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with implementation experience with 5S, ISO 9001, BuildQAS, QLASSIC (and CIS7 : 2021) and OSHA 45001

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure a successful deliverance of a project in terms of quality, time and cost.
  • Evaluate design specifications and shop drawings for approval or recommend changes in design where necessary
  • Resolve construction related issues and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Establish good working relationship with clients, consultants and local authorities.
  • Ensure contractors NSC and DSC meeting all contractual conditions for performance.
  • Meeting high quality standards in construction and proper application of construction techniques.
  • Formulate work schedule and construction programmes in accordance with the project requirements and specifications.
  • Formulate, execute and clear all events of inspections (inspection Test Plans – ITP) and advising Consultants (and Clients and Project Manager – HOP) so that latent and patent defects can eliminated totally
