About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Quantity Surveyor Intern to join our team at Leading Global Engineering Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This full-time internship opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in the construction industry and the chance to develop your skills in quantity surveying. Intern will have opportunities to offer employment contract after completed intern period with satisfied performance.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Quantity Surveying team in cost estimation, project budgeting, and cost control
Preparing bills of quantities, cost reports, and other quantity surveying documentation
Conducting site visits and measurements to support project costing and planning
Participating in the procurement process, including tender evaluation and contract negotiation
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost management
Gaining exposure to various construction projects and learning industry-standard practices

What we're looking for

Currently pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numerical data

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry regulations

Proficiency in using relevant software (e.g., CAD, estimating tools, spreadsheets)
