Job Brief

Checking deliveries of food, beverage, and general items to ensure all aspects of goods received comply with orders previously placed, including quality and quantity. Ensure correct and timely receipt and issues of beverage store comply with the issue orders, including the quality and quantity issued.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all goods and services received are as per purchase orders and Daily Market List, matching quantity and pricing accordingly.
• Ensure quality of goods and services received are of acceptable standards.
• Prepare receiving reports (GRN) after verifying physical goods.
• Send complete set of purchase documents to accounts for processing.
• Keep custody of all goods in the store, report any breakage, deterioration, or obsolete stock to the Purchasing and Finance Managers.
• Maintain proper stock records using available systems and documents for receiving and issuing goods. Verify supplies against delivery orders / invoices.
• Tally physical stock with system records and prepare monthly stock reports after stock takes.
• Highlight spoilage, check expiry dates, and follow FIFO for stock issuance.
• Identify slow-moving stock and follow up on outstanding orders, updating relevant departments.
• Place orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, trace deliveries, and meet operational needs.
• Post orders and generate purchase orders for delivery confirmation.
• Report any issues requiring managerial attention to the Finance Manager.
