Senior NPI Engineer (Process Integration)

Ambu is currently looking for a NPI Engineer (Process Integration) to be based in Global Hub Penang. This position is part of our R&D NPI team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Engineering and Imaging team to understand product specifications and requirements.
• Partner with the Process Engineering team to develop manufacturing processes and work closely with the Equipment Development & Automation team to design and develop necessary equipment.
• Facilitate pilot runs and pre‑production builds, identify potential issues, and ensure successful product development before full‑scale production.
• Ensure documentation and training are in place for Operation teams.
• Formulate and execute strategies to bridge early builds and ramp‑up phases, ensuring the smooth transition of new products and production lines from R&D to manufacturing.
• Support global production line transfers and dual manufacturing initiatives, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and alignment with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Monitor and report on transfer progress and resolve any issues.
• Implement best practices for manufacturing transfer.
