Job descriptionPractical application of HSSE policies, standards, and legal requirements. Workplace risk management and hazard identification. Emergency preparedness and response planning. HSSE reporting, data analysis, and trend monitoring. Environmental sustainability and health practices. Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field. Possesses strong knowledge of workplace safety and environmental regulations. Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficient in at least English and Bahasa Malaysia. Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and ability to work in a team.
Key Responsibilities –
- Assist in conducting safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
- Support the monitoring of workplace compliance with HSSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in incident / near-miss investigations, including data collection and reporting.
- Help prepare HSSE reports, presentations, and training materials for employees.
- Participate in HSSE awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and safety drills.
- Support the maintenance of HSSE records, documentation, and databases.
- Assist in tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for HSSE issues.
- Research and propose improvements in HSSE initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the HSSE department on day-to-day activities.
