Job Description
- Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from structured and unstructured data sources
- Data analysis and interpretation aligned with business objectives
- Data visualisation using tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, or equivalent
- SQL and relational database management
- Business intelligence reporting and dashboard creation
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards

- Develops and maintains system documentation, including data flow diagrams, configuration guides, process documentation, and user manuals.
- Supports the design of scalable and maintainable data solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards.
- Collaborates with data engineers and solution architects to ensure integration and compatibility across systems.
- Contributes to the planning and coordination of data analytics development activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business priorities.

- Coordinates with technical teams to configure, customise, and integrate data platforms and tools to meet business needs.
- Supports continuous improvement of analytics development processes, including automation, documentation, and standardisation practices.
- Leads functional testing of analytics outputs across development stages, ensuring alignment with business requirements and focusing on risk-based prioritisation.
- Designs, verifies, documents, and refines configurations for data analytics systems and tools to support deployment and operational use.
- Applies agreed standards, tools, and best practices to ensure well-structured and reliable system configurations.
- Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to review configuration work, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Ensures system configurations support business processes, comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, and enable accurate data analysis and reporting.
- Maintains configuration documentation, including setup guides, change logs, and configuration baselines for traceability and audit purposes.
- Supports troubleshooting and optimisation of system configurations to improve performance and usability.
- User Acceptance Testing
- Develops, automates, and executes comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate data analytics solutions against business requirements.
- Follows agreed standards and techniques to design test scenarios based on predefined acceptance criteria and expected outcomes.
- Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues, and risks, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout the testing process.
- Collaborates with business users, vendors, and external partners to resolve technical issues, validate data accuracy, and implement best practices for testing and deployment.
- Supports iterative testing cycles, including regression and performance testing, to ensure solution reliability and user satisfaction.
- Ensures that final deliverables meet functional expectations and are ready for production deployment.
- Supports the implementation of system and software lifecycle practices by applying established methods and procedures across data analytics platforms.
- Provides ongoing support for analytics systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity.
- Assists in automation and continuous integration efforts under guidance, contributing to efficient deployment and maintenance of analytics solutions.
- Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of lifecycle management activities, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Contributes to the documentation and upkeep of lifecycle tools and practices, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
- Collaborates with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and adopt best practices for system maintenance and enhancement.
- Supports recurring operational activities such as monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting or financial closing processes.
- Actively participates in system changes, enhancements, and analytics-related projects, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Communicates system updates, changes, and best practices to stakeholders across the organisation to ensure transparency and adoption.
- Engages with key stakeholders—including service providers like DXC and platform vendors—to ensure effective stakeholder management and service delivery.
- Community & Knowledge Base
- Actively participates in internal and external data and analytics communities to share insights, stay updated on industry trends, and promote knowledge exchange.
- Contributes to the internal knowledge base by documenting best practices, lessons learned, and reusable assets, and maintains the internal knowledge portal for easy access and reference.

Education / Professional Qualification
