Tooling Manager

Responsibilities

Lead and manage activities related to RQF, quotation, DFM, tool design, and manufacturing. Act as the primary contact point for customers on new tool manufacturing and ECN implementation during and after tool fabrication. Perform audit and verification of critical design changes according to procedures and guidelines. Responsible for troubleshooting and servicing tools used in the production of precision components. Provide engineering support in tooling manufacture, optimization, and commissioning. Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects; test and repair broken or damaged patterns; modify articles to meet specifications. Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing tool room team to achieve objectives and drive continuous improvement. Set departmental objectives and KPIs, regularly review performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Prepare reports on target achievements and recommend necessary actions. Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Polymer, Tooling, Manufacturing, or other related disciplines). Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in plastic molding tool design and development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, UG NX 10 & 11, Mold Flow, Moldex, 3D / 2D drawing, CNC Programming, EDM, Wire-cut.
