Position Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Buyer specializing in Direct and Indirect Materials (Inventory) to join our dynamic team in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah. In this role, you will be the site leader and point of contact for all aspects of raw material planning, purchasing and coordination with the raw material planning and scheduling teams. Lead the team members in day-to-day activities to ensure raw materials are acquired, and delivered in the most timely and cost-effective manner possible. This includes sourcing, negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, and ensuring compliance with international logistics regulations, tax laws and government or banking requirements. Lead the improvement efforts through the use of tools and techniques in the Watlow Business System (WBS) and serves as the subject matter expert in material management. This role is more on material planning, indirect material purchase and inventory management.

Job Requirements :

• Experience on both direct material and indirect materials is a MUST
• Excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills
• Leads department team members to ensure that people, quality, delivery, cost, inventory and growth are continuously being improved on to achieve strategy deployment objectives
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (5-8 years)
• Required to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Must have material planning, indirect material purchase and inventory management's experiences
• Experienced in using Oracle is a plus
• Must be willing to work in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah
