We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Technical Lead to drive our cloud-native initiatives and optimize our container orchestration processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, with the ability to lead technical teams and implement best practices.

What You'll Do :

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and deliver the OpenShift v3 to v4 migration , minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with internal security and audit standards.

Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade OpenShift v4 clusters for mission-critical workloads.

Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to containerize legacy systems and implement microservices architecture .

Define and implement CI / CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, and Tekton.

Enforce governance, security, and compliance frameworks ( PCI DSS, SOX, CIS benchmarks ) within the OpenShift ecosystem.

Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on OpenShift best practices , operations, and security strategies specific to financial services.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Engage with audit and compliance stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment and proactive risk management.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

5+ years in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering—preferably in the banking or financial services sector.

3+ years of hands-on OpenShift experience, including migration from v3 to v4 .

In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, container security , and network policy design .

Proven experience with CI / CD and GitOps tooling such as Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD, and Helm.

Strong grasp of cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ), especially in regulated environments .

Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks : PCI DSS, SOX, CIS Benchmarks.

Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Proficient in scripting languages : Bash, Python.

Hands-on experience with observability stacks : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / EFK .
