About the Role

Are you passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences and driving impactful HR strategies? We're looking for a dynamic Manager, People Operations to lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions across our Penang and Kuala Lumpur offices.

This role is key to aligning people strategies with business goals, ensuring smooth HR operations, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. You'll be a trusted partner to leadership and a champion for our people.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with department heads to align HR initiatives with business needs
  • Support performance management, learning & development, and change management
  • Provide strategic HR input for business transformation projects

2. Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment to attract top talent
  • Drive talent reviews, compensation planning, and performance cycles
  • Identify learning needs and coordinate training programs
  • Coach managers and employees on career development
  • 3. Employee Experience & Internal Communication

  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment
  • Plan and execute employee engagement and communication initiatives
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • 4. Administration & Compliance

  • Manage office administration, facilities, and vendor coordination
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and internal HR policies
  • Continuously improve HR systems and operational processes
  • 5. Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

  • Ensure adherence to OSH regulations and company safety standards
  • Coordinate safety audits, training, and reporting
  • Promote a culture of health and safety
  • 6. HR Projects, Policies & Budget

  • Lead HR improvement initiatives and support group-level projects
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook
  • Manage the annual HR budget and monitor key HR metrics
  • What We're Looking For

    Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience

  • 6–8 years of HR experience, including recruitment and generalist roles
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in employee engagement and internal communications
  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable
  • Willing to travel to Kuala Lumpur monthly
