Cloud Engineer (Azure/AWS)

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on Azure and AWS platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure that supports business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of cloud-related issues.
• Work with internal teams to align cloud solutions with business needs.
• Provide support for cloud-related projects, including documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement best practices for cloud architecture and operations.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet security and compliance requirements.
• Assist in implementing identity and access management (IAM) policies.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance cloud engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Hands on experience with Azure and/or AWS platforms.
• Basic understanding of networking, storage, and cloud security principles.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of cloud architecture and deployment models.
• Basic experience with scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
• Understanding with DevOps practices and CI CD pipelines.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Preferred Skills: Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and cloud native database services.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
