Job descriptionProven experience as a CNC machinist (set-up and operation required). Hands-on experience with CNC controls (e.g. Fanuc, Mitsubishi or similar). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Mastercam. Overtime opportunities. Maternity leave Opportunities for promotion Parental leave
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and maintain CNC mills to produce precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD / CAM files.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds for different materials.
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to improve processes and efficiency.
