Overview

Managing Simic product engineering area in Back-end Subcon.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership for product / package yield / quality and drive continuous improvement.
  • Interface with Engineering topics to support IFX product engineering in Unisem Chengdu.
  • Serve as the first contact for product engineering topics and escalations by subcon.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of product (Design / FE), assembly and test related issues; drive feedback to relevant parties for continuous improvement and be familiar with data analysis tools to reflect production performance.
  • Drive / coordinate improvement activities between FE / Assy / Test / Customer; have knowledge of FE fab / assembly processes and master in test area; identify potential root causes between FE / Assy and testing during production.
  • Hold lot release and deviation management; ensure shipped product complies with specifications.
  • Be part of New Product Ramp team and manage safe launches—enable subcon (technical & Supply Chain & IT); assess and implement product changes / transfers including trainings to the subcon eng; support test related topics in PCRB, project milestones.
  • Collaborate with planning / quality / subcons to ensure product health meets IFX requirements in yield / quality / cycle time / delivery.
  • Manage test related documentation—review and update Control Plans and test procedures to align to IFX requirements; handle Test Procedures and Specs, Product Change Notices (PCN), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Quality Systems; manage test data transfer from subcon to EBS.
  • Independently handle FAR activities including root cause analysis and improvement actions in subcon.
  • Engage and contribute to IFX design / change reviews and provide inputs on key learnings / improvements to incorporate on new products.

Your Profile

  • More than 7 years of working experience in Engineering + semiconductor background.
  • Proficient with data analysis tools to perform real-time production data analysis and derive production performance and commonality results.
  • Good understanding of FE / assembly processes to identify root causes of production issues.
  • Experience / know-how with Final Test Equipment, processes and methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with Test Systems and programs (Visual ATE, UNIX, C++, SAP) and various functional interfaces.
  • Interfaces with PE, TDE, Production Logistic & Planning, Quality Management and Subcons.
  • Program Management, Project Management, Project Leadership experience.
  • Customer and service oriented.
