The Role We’re seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to support our outbound sales and business development efforts.
This entry-level role offers the chance to work closely with Senior Business Development Team members to identify leads, participate in discovery calls, and assist in developing proposals.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, eager to learn, and motivated to make an impact in the Marketing Automation and Digital Marketing field.
Key Responsibilities : Lead Support & Pipeline Development : Proactively identify new business opportunities and engage prospects through outreach methods including calls, social selling, and messaging.
Discovery & Proposal Assistance : Participate in discovery calls and work alongside senior team members to assist in creating proposals and presentations for clients.
Sales Process Learning : Gain hands-on experience in all stages of the sales process, from lead nurturing to deal closing, with mentorship from senior sales managers.
Relationship Building : Begin building relationships with clients and prospects, learning how to engage key decision-makers effectively.
Market & Product Knowledge : Stay updated on digital marketing trends, CRM tools, and industry insights to better support the sales team and contribute to strategic conversations.
Team Collaboration & Support : Collaborate with team members, assisting with administrative tasks, scheduling, CRM management, and preparing reports for ongoing projects.
Sales Tools & Systems : Develop skills in using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and other CRM platforms to manage client interactions and track sales opportunities.
What We’re Looking For : Education & Interest in Digital Marketing : A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience with a strong interest in digital marketing and sales.
Experience : 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role is preferred, but fresh graduates with a passion for marketing automation, digital marketing and sales are also welcome to apply.
Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to develop effective presentation and engagement skills.
Sales Tools Familiarity : Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM tools, or similar platforms is preferred, with a strong willingness to learn new systems.
Motivated & Goal-Oriented : Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and drive to achieve personal and team targets.
Organized & Detail-Oriented : Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, with strong attention to detail.
Team Player : Enthusiastic about working in a collaborative environment and open to learning from experienced team members.
Australian Market Awareness (Preferred) : Basic knowledge or interest in learning about the AU market and the SaaS and digital marketing industry.
