The Principal BTP Consultant is responsible for implementing and driving the design of BTP-based solutions that meet our clients' business requirements. This person has a strong technical background in SAP technologies and comprehensive experience working with BTP and serves as a leader to the client, and a mentor to other Rizing Consultants.

Essential Functions

Serve as a team leader or supervisor analyzing client’s business and technical requirements in order to deliver successful implementation.

Contribute to architecture design workshops and assist with the design of state-of-the-art architecture for applications on SAP BTP.

Leads initial process to capture business requirements, system design, recommendations and prototyping including potential solution options.

Completes project planning and scoping activities to ensure successful implementation including projecting costs and deliverables, resource planning and utilization, and change management.

Essential Functions (Continued)

Directs go-live and cutover activities pertinent to their area of delivery.

Support BD and LOB's as required, to provide expertise input for RFQ and SOW.

Excellent knowledge and skills in using Agile and DevOps methodologies with SAP BTP implementations.

Understand best practice usage of SAP BTP services in alignment with SAP's guidelines.

A thought leader that actively follow SAP BTP trends and changes in processes, tools and standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in a related field.

At least 10 years SAP implementation experience comprising at least 3 full cycles of design and development of BTP related solutions.

3 years of experience in solution delivery.

Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, with the ability to implement resolutions.

Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to attentively listen and effectively communicate in oral and written format with clients.

Desired Qualifications

Deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP technologies and services).

Experienced in driving BTP-related topics (developments, guidelines, etc.) in a DevOps and / or agile environment.

SAP BTP related certification.
