  • Take initiative to identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers across government bodies, engineering consultancies, EPC contractors, and private sector developers.
  • Research and assess upcoming infrastructure projects and tender opportunities through government procurement portals, tender databases, and industry networks.
  • Engage in pre-qualification and tendering activities by providing technical input for RFP responses, proposal development, and pricing strategies.
  • Interpret and analyze technical specifications, civil engineering drawings, and procurement requirements for projects.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as estimating, design, and project delivery to ensure client requirements are accurately translated into practical solutions.
  • Act as the company’s representative at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to showcase services and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Track competitor movements and market trends to inform strategic planning and enhance market positioning.
  • Monitor and report on business development KPIs, sales pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to government and industry regulations during tender submissions and contract negotiations.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline. MBA or formal business training is considered an advantage.
    • At least 5–8 years of experience in business development or technical sales within infrastructure construction or EPC projects.
    • Strong understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles, procurement processes, and public-private partnership (PPP) frameworks.
    • Proven experience in infrastructure sectors including transportation (roads, rail), utilities (water, power), or urban development.
    • Well-versed in standard contract forms commonly used in infrastructure projects, such as FIDIC, NEC, and others.
    • Established strong network across the infrastructure construction ecosystem, encompassing government agencies, consultants, and contractors.
    • Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
    • Skilled in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
