About the Role : We are seeking an experienced and passionate Data Science Manager to lead and grow our Data Science team. As a Data Science Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable intelligence. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of data professionals to solve complex business problems using data-driven solutions that influence strategic decisions across the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, operations, and compliance to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of analytics initiatives.  This role requires not only strong technical skills in data science but also solid leadership, project management capabilities, and a collaborative mindset. Experience in agile development, sprint planning, and Jira will be highly valuable as you’ll help manage the team’s workflow and maintain high operational efficiency. A background in data product management and software engineering is a plus, enabling you to bridge technical execution with business needs. Requirements : -Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or experience in related fields. -5+ years of experience in data science with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or lead role. -Strong proficiency in Python and R, SQL, and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, etc.). -Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight). -Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical. -Proven track record of delivering impactful data projects that influence business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications : -Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment. -Experience with software engineering practices, including version control (Git), CI / CD pipelines, and testing frameworks. -Familiarity with agile project management, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and using tools such as Jira or Trello. -Proven experience as a Data Product Manager or working closely with product teams to shape data products and solutions. -Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing timelines, stakeholders, and cross-functional collaboration.
