Requirements

  • At least completed SPM education
  • Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of component placement criteria and handling.
  • Attention to Detail : Being careful to spot even small mistakes
  • Testing Knowledge : Knowing how to use testing tools and machines.
  • Communication : Being able to share information clearly with the team.
  • Full-time positions available in Senai, Johor.

Responsibilities

  • Visual Inspection : Check assembled PCBs (circuit boards) for visible problems like misplaced parts, missing components, or bad soldering. Use tools like magnifiers or microscopes to find small issues.
  • Testing and Checking : Test the finished boards to make sure all the parts work correctly. Use machines or manual methods to check if the board is electrically functioning.
  • Process Checking : Make sure the assembly process follows the correct steps and instructions. Help find the cause of any mistakes or defects and suggest ways to fix them.
  • Reporting : Keep records of inspections, tests, and any problems found. Write reports about quality issues and help track solutions.
  • Sampling and Data Analysis : Randomly select boards to inspect for quality. Look for patterns in problems and suggest improvements.
  • Component Checking : Inspect raw materials and parts before they are used in assembly to ensure they are good quality.
  • Working with Production Teams : Work closely with production teams to solve any quality issues during assembly. Share feedback with engineers if there are design issues affecting the assembly.
  • Final Inspection : Perform a final check on the fully assembled boards to ensure they meet customer standards.
  • Fixing Problems : Help find the causes of quality issues and suggest ways to prevent them from happening again.
  • Safety and Rules : Ensure that the work environment is safe and follows all necessary rules and regulations.
  • Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
