We are dedicated to delivering high-quality travel experiences and services, ensuring seamless and exceptional journeys for our B2B partners and their clients. As an IT Executive , you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless digital operations, and driving technological innovation within the organization.
This is a full-time on-site leadership role at Golden Destinations by ICE HOLIDAYS Sdn Bhd's office in Malaysia.
Requirement :
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional ASEAN languages is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management.
- Experience with travel booking systems, CRM platforms, and ERP solutions is an advantage.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and data backup solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & System Management :
Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware.Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues promptly.Provide technical support to internal teams, resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems.Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, business applications, and travel management systems.Cybersecurity & Data Protection :
Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect company data and systems from cyber threats.Monitor system performance and security, identifying vulnerabilities and applying necessary patches or upgrades.Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested regularly.Software & Travel System Management :
Support and maintain the company’s travel booking systems, CRM platforms, and internal applications.Work closely with software vendors and travel technology providers to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.Assist in software upgrades, testing, and implementation of new digital tools to improve operational efficiency.Technical Support & User Training :
Provide end-user support and training to employees on IT best practices and system usage.Develop IT documentation and guidelines to ensure staff can efficiently utilize company systems.Work collaboratively with different departments to understand their IT needs and propose effective solutions.IT Project Management & Innovation :
Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives.Stay updated with the latest IT trends and innovations in the travel industry to recommend new solutions that enhance business operations.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related procurement and service agreements.System Performance & Compliance :
Ensure all IT operations comply with industry regulations and company policies.Monitor IT budgets and assist in cost-effective procurement of technology resources.Conduct periodic system audits and generate performance reports for management review.Benefits
