Senior Executive / Executive in Business Development - Sustainability

Job Description

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in ESG and sustainability sectors.
• Promote and sell ESG-related services, such as ESG reporting tools, consultancy, training, carbon footprint assessments, sustainability certifications (, ISO 14001, ISO 50001), and impact measurement tools.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with corporate sustainability teams, compliance officers, and C-level executives.
• Understand industry trends, ESG frameworks (, GRI, TCFD, SASB), and regulatory developments (, Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting).
• Work with internal technical consultants to develop tailored proposals and presentations.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and attend relevant ESG-related conferences and expos.
• Achieve monthly / quarterly sales targets and report on sales activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop ESG-focused campaigns and promotional content.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on market trends and client needs.
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals that maximize value for both the client and the company.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities using CRM tools.
• Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
