The opportunity
As part of our life actuarial team, you’ll focus on high-impact opportunities to apply your knowledge and experience that will shape our services. You’ll build valuable relationships with clients and develop strong capabilities, through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues. You will be at the forefront of issues that are shaping the insurance industry in Asia and gain a wide exposure to a diverse range of actuarial projects.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Associate in the Actuarial Consulting team, you’ll be leading or working as part of a project team to deliver a wide range of client engagements. This includes :
- Regulatory changes, including IFRS17 and Risk-Based Capital
- Actuarial Valuation, embedded value reviews, regulatory related reviews
- Performance evaluation in areas related to financial risks, product distribution and capital issues
- Advanced financial modelling approaches and systems , designing valuation and Asset Liability Management frameworks

Minimum 2 years of experience in the life / family takaful actuarial team or an actuarial consulting firmCandidates with lesser experience will be considered for Associate positionActively pursuing actuarial qualifications with either the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), the Society of Actuaries (US) or the Institute of Actuaries of AustraliaDepth of experience in at least one of the following areas :Financial and regulatory reportingValuation of life insurance / family takaful liabilitiesIFRS17Financial modellingGood understanding of economic or market issues and the ability to interpret their impact on clientsExperience in working in a project-based, team-oriented environment, with a proven track record of delivering in face-paced and demanding environmentBe an influential leader of the team, contribute to our positive learning culture, coach and mentor junior team members and help them to developAbility to establish personal credibility quickly and demonstrate expertiseIdeally, you’ll also have
