They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Job Description :
Work as the manufacturing focal to undertake NPI activities including :
- Support R&D in developing manufacturing processes for new products.
- Provide DFM input for complex product designs.
- Design efficient shop floor layouts,
- Define tools and coordinate equipment / fixture setup.
- Assist in cost estimation for manufacturing.
- Lead cross-functional implementation of manufacturing solutions.
Perform in a production engineering role to :
Lead cross-functional teams for problem-solving and corrective actions.Maintain tooling spares and equipment programs.Work with Quality to resolve non-conformance issues.Investigate and implement corrective actions for customer complaints.Provide leadership and training to manufacturing engineers.Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.ERP knowledge preferred (e.g. SAP, IFS).Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience in an EMS manufacturing environment.Experienced in working with R&D and external partners for new product startups.Skilled in manufacturing process design and test development.Familiar with medical device manufacturing standards : ISO 13485, ISO 14971, CFR 21 Part 820.Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Experience with equipment, jig, and fixture vendors is an advantage.Knowledge of inventory control and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, IFS) is preferred.Awareness of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.Good 5S housekeeping practices.Proactive and self-motivated in production-related activities.
