Job description : -Client Consultation and Requirement Analysis - Discuss client needs, preferences, and budget - Understand functional requirements (residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.) - Provide initial design suggestions and mood boards -Space Planning and Conceptual Design - Create floor plans, layouts, and 3D visualizations - Select color schemes, materials, furniture, and decor - Develop design concepts that align with client expectations -Site Visits (Critical Responsibility) Initial Site Assessment : - Measure dimensions and document existing conditions (walls, windows, doors, electrical points, plumbing) - Take photographs for reference - Identify structural limitations or opportunities. Education : Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (required) -Experience : 2–5 years of professional experience in interior design (depending on level) -Technical Skills : -Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar -Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) -Strong understanding of materials, lighting, color theory, and space planning -Design Knowledge : -Familiarity with building codes, ADA regulations, and industry standards -Ability to create mood boards, 3D renderings, floor plans, and elevations -Soft Skills : -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Strong creative and problem-solving abilities -Good time management and ability to work under deadlines
