Job Summary
As a Visual Merchandiser for a lifestyle brand, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and brand-aligned in-store displays that inspire and engage customers. Your role is crucial in translating the brand’s identity, seasonal themes, and product stories into compelling visual presentations that enhance the overall shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Visual Merchandising Strategy
- Develop and execute seasonal visual merchandising (VM) plans that align with the brand’s identity and current campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing, retail, and product teams to translate lifestyle brand messaging into compelling in-store displays.
2. In-Store Presentation
Design, install, and maintain window displays, interior setups, and promotional zones.Ensure all stores are VM-compliant with brand guidelines (furniture layout, lighting, props, graphics, etc.).Regularly update displays to reflect new arrivals, trends, promotions, or thematic campaigns (e.g., summer, holidays).3. Customer Experience & Storytelling
Use product placement and store zoning to guide customer flow and enhance shopper experience.Create immersive lifestyle settings that connect emotionally with target customers (e.g., home, leisure, wellness environments).4. Brand Consistency
Maintain consistency of visual language across all stores and retail formats (flagship, pop-up, partner stores).Train in-store teams to uphold VM standards and assist in local executions.5. Market & Trend Awareness
Stay updated on lifestyle and design trends to keep VM fresh and engaging.Benchmark competitor VM strategies and provide improvement insights.6. Inventory & Display Management
Coordinate with stock and store teams to ensure featured products are well-stocked and accessible.Monitor display product rotation and cleanliness.7. Event & Launch Support
Plan and execute visual themes for product launches, store openings, influencer events, and seasonal campaigns.Technical Skills & Competencies
Strong sense of aesthetics, spatial awareness, and lifestyle storytellingProficiency in VM tools (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)Attention to detail and creativityExcellent communication and coordination skillsRetail and customer insight, with the ability to translate trends into the brand’s visual identityRequirements :
2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the F&B industryStrong attention to detail and a creative mindsetAbility to translate retail and customer insights into impactful visual brand identityStay up to date with market trends and apply them effectively within the brand’s contextWillingness to travel to Singapore at least once a monthSalary : Up to RM 8,000
