Production Manager

Penerangan pekerjaanTo lead and manage the entire production departments for continuous improvement activities. To coordinate the production schedule and ensure quality of products meet to our quality standard. Production output and efficiency monitoring. Perform headcount planning, target setting. Supervise, train guide subordinates. Develop performance KPIs for production activities. Follow up production order and ensure production run smoothly and complete orders on schedule. Monitor overall production output and verify daily production forms. Investigate non conformance’s root cause and take corrective / preventive action. Identify areas for improvement and initiate improvement activities Ensure safety and healthy working environment for production. Inculcate 5s good housekeeping habits and maintain discipline on the production line. Liaise with supporting departments like Planning, HR, IT, Marketing QA and R&D to ensure production needs are fulfilled. Participate in ISO activities, customers’ audit and inspection. Liaise with certain suppliers and sub contractors. Order spare parts of machine. Perform other related duties as required. Approve subordinates to go to clinic. Approve subordinates to apply leave. Approve subordinates to go out during working hours. Approve subordinates overtime. Knowledge of technical troubleshooting. Able to coordinate daily production operation. Knowledge of computer softwares like ERP and Excel, Word, Powerpoint Strong skills in leadership, decision making and people management. At least a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Manager specialized in Manufacturing / Production Operation or equivalent.
