Requirements
- Possess a minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field such as Information Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately manage and maintain project documentation.
- Exhibit proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with document control software and systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, adhering to strict deadlines and project requirements.
- Strong understanding of document control principles and procedures within the construction industry, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive project information, adhering to data protection policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Maintain and manage documents using the company's electronic document management system (EDMS), ensuring accurate indexing, version control, and accessibility for all project team members.Control the flow of documents between internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, ensuring timely distribution and receipt confirmation.Implement and enforce document control procedures and protocols in accordance with company standards and project requirements, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.Prepare and maintain document control reports, including document status, distribution lists, and overdue documents, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.Assist in the development and maintenance of the document control system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Provide training and support to project team members on document control procedures and the use of the EDMS, ensuring consistent application of best practices.Archive and retrieve documents as required, ensuring proper storage and disposal of obsolete documents in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.Benefits
