The program serves to provide vital experience for students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical work experience, enabling them to develop skills that will provide them with an invaluable head start in their career.

The intern will have the exposure in the following areas :

Requirements Gathering and Analysis :

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to data analysis, reporting, and decision-making.

Conduct requirement study, workshops, and meetings to elicit and clarify requirements.

Analyze and prioritize requirements based on business value and feasibility.

Data Mapping, Modeling and Design :

Work as data analyst and modelers to define data structures and schemas that support business reporting and analysis needs.

Ensure data models align with business requirements and facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.

Data Analysis and Interpretation :

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and anomalies.

Use statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Data Quality Assurance :

Assess data quality and integrity within the data warehouse.

Implement data cleansing and validation processes to maintain high-quality data.

Ad-hoc Analysis and Data Exploration :

Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business queries or investigate new opportunities.

Perform exploratory data analysis to discover trends and relationships in data.

Handle ad-hoc data extraction

Eligibility

Malaysian citizen;

Undergraduate / graduate in any field of study from a local or international university;

Possess CGPA score of 3.0 and above, or equivalent;

Able to commit to entire duration of program (minimum of 12 weeks);

Able to demonstrate leadership qualities and ability to overcome challenges through degree or extra-curricular activities;

Displays enthusiasm when given tasks, able to communicate with people at various seniority levels and work cohesively in a project or team environment;

Possess the passion and motivation to push for growth and success in the banking and financial industry.

Remuneration

A basic monthly allowance
