JOB PURPOSE

To assist and support Project Manager and officers managing renovations and maintenance in implementing the establishment of new cost centre(s), renovation / upgrading works and relocation exercises including assisting the Mechanical & Electrical Services (M&E) Management Section functions to achieve customers' satisfaction within the constraints of available resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist in collecting data, site measurements for the purpose of producing layout plan;
• Analyzing building specifications, codes, and sites;
• Creating technical drawings from Project Manager's sketches and specifications;
• Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other project details;
• Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by Project Managers, consultants and contractors;
• Entering CAD data into building information modelling (BIM) systems to create 3-D models and renderings;
• Preparing drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques;
• Visiting project sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as and when required;
• Collaborating with Project Manager to ensure adherence to branches specifications and industry regulations;
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design;
• To assist with key projects which include renovation of premises for establishment of new cost centre / branch / HPC upgrading of existing cost centre / branch and establishment of offsite ATMs or kiosks;
• To assist with the re-organization / consolidating of interior office space planning at all Affin Bank / Affin Islamic Bank Branches and AHIB nationwide;
• To lead and consult business users on their requirement and limitation for any renovation works;
• To prepare design layout plan for business user for managements approval;
• To closely monitor execution of projects which include coordination, monitoring, supervision and liaising with contractors, consultants and business units to ensure timelypletion of renovation works inclusive of final defects inspection uponpletion of the projects;
• To prepare approval memo for top management reviews / concurrence / approval for appointment of vendor; and
• To assist / support superiors and Head, Property & Projects Department on an ad hoc basis as and when required for urgent delegated works and tasks from time to time.
