Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification : SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent
  • Languages : Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Work Schedule : Willingness to work on a rotating shift basis, including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

Job Summary :

The Team Leader plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the store by supervising retail staff, maintaining high customer service standards, and driving sales performance. This role involves overseeing inventory management, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing hands-on support on the sales floor. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong interpersonal skills, committed to creating a positive shopping experience and fostering a motivated and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :

  • Supervise, motivate, and guide retail associates to deliver excellent customer service and achieve store goals. Conduct regular briefings, assign tasks, and monitor daily performance.
  • Customer Service :

  • Provide outstanding service by assisting customers in locating products, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Sales Floor Management :

  • Ensure the sales floor is consistently well-organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing according to company merchandising standards.
  • Inventory & Stock Control :

  • Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments. Oversee stock replenishment and perform regular inventory checks to minimize discrepancies.
  • Point of Sale Operations :

  • Handle customer transactions using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in payment processing and adherence to cash handling procedures.
  • Promotion & Product Knowledge :

  • Inform customers about ongoing promotions and product features to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Compliance & Safety :

  • Ensure team adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines, including proper handling of store security and hygiene protocols.
  • Maintenance & Housekeeping :

  • Oversee end-of-day cleaning routines, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning fixtures, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Performance Monitoring :

  • Provide constructive feedback and support team development through coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Operational Efficiency :

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues swiftly to maintain service standards and store productivity.
