Daily Financial Operations : -Handle accounts payable / receivable, invoicing, expense claims, and bank reconciliations. -Monitor cash flow and assist in monthly cash flow forecasting. -Financial Reporting and Compliance : -Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. -Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations (SST, corporate tax) and statutory requirements. -Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies as needed. -Budgeting and Analysis : -Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts. -Conduct variance analysis and cost control reviews to support business performance. -Systems and Process Improvement : -Assist in streamlining financial processes and improving automation within accounting systems. -Maintain and update financial records in accordance with internal controls and policies. -Support Regional Coordination : -Collaborate with the regional finance team in China and other SEA markets to ensure accurate intercompany transactions and alignment on finance policies. Skills and Competencies : -Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations. -Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero, SAP, or other ERP / accounting software is preferred. -Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. -Good command of English (Mandarin is a plus, due to frequent communication with regional HQ). -Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
