Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of machine operations and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
  • Ability to read, interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work overtime when required

Responsibilities

  • Perform production orders according to schedule and work instructions.
  • Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
  • Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal operation.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve machine efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure 6S are maintained.
  • Maintain the tooling in the production line.
  • Create TPM checklist and SOP for machine / power tools.
  • Report any breakdowns to superior and preventative action.
  • Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned by the company’s management from time to time.
