Monitor the performance and health of servers, applications, databases, and storage systems.
Ensure system availability and stability through proactive monitoring and incident response.
Detect, analyze, troubleshoot, and document IT faults in accordance with organizational standards.
Utilize standard tools for managing incidents, problems, requests, and changes.
Escalate unresolved or high-impact issues to the on-call team or Escalation Manager as per guidelines.
Provide after-hours support when issues occur outside normal service windows.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to server operations, security, and data privacy.
Deliver technical support to end-users, resolving client-server related issues promptly.
Job Requirements :
Diploma, Degree, or equivalent professional training in Computer Science or related field.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
Prior experience as a data center or systems operator.
Hands-on experience with UNIX and Windows systems and command-line tools.
Familiar with ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Tivoli, and UC4.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite including Outlook and Teams.
Willingness to work in a 24 / 7 shift rotation schedule.
Familiarity with basic understanding of UNIX infrastructure and operational workflows, experience in handling, interpreting and responding of UNIX related alarms through trouble ticket systems.
Ability to interpret and respond to UNIX system alerts.
Knowledge of essential Windows commands to assess server status.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot different types of Windows error alerts.
Proficient in using Windows OS for daily operations
Experience handling Windows-related alarms and events via ticketing systems.
Understanding of Windows infrastructure components.
