What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain; Related professional / technical qualification will be advantageous
- At least 6 years real time experience in Java development and working knowledge in core java, Spring boot, Hibernate.
- 5+ years of total experience with application development tools such as WebSphere, Maven, and Jenkins.
- Experience in Application maintenance / production support with a focus on Level 2 or Level 3 support.
- Must have experience in banking domain and good to have experience in CACS online (Collections), 3DS and Bankwide loyalty program.
- Hands-on experience on Oracle database and working knowledge in PL / SQL .
- Hands-on experience in Web servers (such as JBoss Webserver, Apache etc.) and Java platform / J2ee and Java web container (such as WebLogic, JBoss EAP, JBoss Webserver Tomcat, IBM WebSphere etc).
- Should have experience in applying WebSphere Patches, OS Patches, SSL Cert Configuration.
- Strong technical background with expertise in Java and J2EE technology.
- Good to have knowledge on Devops tool like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, GIT.
- Good to have knowledge on Control M batch processing tool.
- Good to have experience in using JIRA and Remedy Workflow Application.
- Must have working knowledge with LINUX / UNIX environment.
- Problem solving skills, to be able to continuously come out with different structured ideas in the process solving problem.
- Proactive, self-driven and can perform well under pressure with a high sense of urgency.
- Excellent in communication skills.
- Platform / product - TKM (or) 3DS (preferred) . Server / DB - Oracle DB. Language - Unix / Linux / SQL / Korn shell programming experience. OS-Open Systems (Linux / Unix).
What you'll be doing on the job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior application Maintenance / Production support professional to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for application maintenance and providing support to cards systems. Key objective is to ensure good quality and smooth delivery of cards technology system enhancements that are fully in compliance with mandated framework and guidelines.
Provide Level 3 (L3) support for critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing downtime.Collaborate with the primary product vendor to address and implement application fixes, enhancements, and updates.Conduct root cause analysis for recuring issues and work proactively to prevent future occurrences.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the open systems.Work closely with cross functional teams, including development, testing, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless application support.Work in the team of Cards Service Delivery to resolve Production Incidents & Problem Tickets .Support Production EOD’s as per Roster.
