Requirements

Core Skills (Must-Have)

Kotlin / Java Development

  • 5+ years of Android development experience, proficient in Kotlin (preferred) and Java.
  • In-depth understanding of Android SDK and Jetpack components (ViewModel, Room, WorkManager).

Accessibility Service

  • Experience with AccessibilityService for automation (e.g., simulated clicks, UI event monitoring).
  • Familiar with accessibility feature optimization and adapting to custom ROMs (e.g., Xiaomi, Huawei special permissions).

    • Network Communication

  • Proficient with RESTful APIs (Retrofit + OkHttp), handling authentication (OAuth2 / JWT), caching, and retry mechanisms.
  • WebSocket experience (real-time chat, push notifications).

    • Project Leadership

  • Led Android project architecture design (modularization, componentization).
  • Capable of providing technical guidance (code reviews, mentoring junior engineers).

    • Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java , with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
  • Implement and manage Jetpack components such as ViewModel, Room, and WorkManager to ensure robust app architecture.
  • Develop and optimize AccessibilityService features for automation tasks, including simulated clicks and UI event monitoring.
  • Ensure compatibility with various Android custom ROMs (e.g., Xiaomi, Huawei), handling special permissions and feature adaptations.
  • Integrate and maintain RESTful APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp, including handling OAuth2 / JWT authentication, caching, and network reliability strategies.
  • Build and manage WebSocket connections for real-time functionalities like live chat and push notifications.
  • Lead the architectural design of Android projects with a focus on modularization and componentization for scalability and maintainability.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews , best practices enforcement, and mentorship of junior developers to ensure code quality and team growth.
