What you will do :

  • In charge of the strategic acquisition of new customers for commercial mortgage / property backed financing .
  • Source for prospective business banking clients for commercial mortgage / property backed financing through tie-ups such as agents, brokers, developers, and lawyers
  • To achieve agreed sales targets through new business acquisition by selling commercial mortgages product.
  • Responsible for achieving overall business objective with the customers or channels.
  • Work closely with customers to enhance and build strong and long-lasting relationship to drive target sales.
  • Leverage deep understanding of market & customers dynamic to build and execute business strategies and plans.
  • Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution. Conduct regular reviews with customers on different business aspects.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as sales team, admin, finance and ops team to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Implement and execute action plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses.
  • Prepare proposal on commercial terms for products, in accordance with company policies.
  • Report on the activities and products of the competitors.
  • Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc.
  • Follow up on customer issues, respond to customer orders and queries. Inform current and prospective customers of promotions / new products.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Requirements

    What we are looking for :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer mortgages / property backed financing.
  • Have a strong commercial acumen and the ability to build credibility at the executive level.
  • Entrepreneurial, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can combine your strong commercial instinct, financial knowledge along with an eye for detail and a sense of urgency.
  • A proven track record in the related field.
  • Significant commercial and contract negotiation experience.
  • Experience of working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment and managing a team.

  • Experience in SME lending in banking sector
