Join our Bid Strategy team driving the success of our Gas Services sales efforts, primarily focusing on the Gas Services’ Asia Pacific & China Sales Central service business, with potential for additional responsibilities in other regions as needed. In this dynamic and fast-paced position you will leverage innovative marketing strategies and competitor intelligence to enhance our bids, directly impacting our sales targets. Your role will involve leadership, critical analytical work, strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and employing your creativity to significantly contribute to both our immediate bid success and to our long-term sales strategy. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on special projects and initiatives, further broadening your impact within your assigned regions and on a global scale.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and manage region Asia Pacific and China activities and engagements.
- Support LoA process by managing and analyzing historical pricing data, enabling strategic price adjustments to optimize sales team confidence in pricing decisions.
- Facilitate uniformity and strategic insight with consistent LoA support and comprehensive analysis of market level pricing, competitor moves, and market headwinds / tailwinds.
- Conduct periodical intelligence debriefs attended by sales teams (and others globally) to discuss sales’ lessons learned, market trends, OEM competitor moves, and competitive intelligence enhancing understanding of the market landscape.
- Develop, maintain and communicate Market Level Pricing and Target Pricing for a variety of service solutions, including price build-up with project specific scope and market comparisons.
- Encourage alignment across regions, countries, and New Unit to ensure we are following standard processes.
- Conduct Win-Loss analyses of relevant bids to capture lessons learned through the sales process and create Fighting Guides for specific products.
What You Bring
You bring an open, diplomatic, and collaborative approach, and enjoy cultivating positive relationships.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.8+ years of related experience in a sales and marketing role; experience in LTP and / or Open Market business. Solid technical understanding of Gas turbine and Combine Cycle Power Plant. Experience in a sales / marketing function is a plus.Proven negotiations experience and techniques : Assertive, collaborative, creative, organized, with a can-do approach.Proficiency in SalesForce and Microsoft office. Proficiency in Tableau (or Power BI), Fleet Intelligence, SAP, GEC, GPC, IIR preferred. Skills in business model development is a plus!Open and direct communication in English is required, fluency in German and / or Spanish is a plus.
