Requirements

  • Candidates must possess at least Primary School.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizing abilities.
  • Knowledge of the best procedures and standards for food safety.
  • The ability to safely utilize standard kitchen appliances.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all work is carried out as per the contract and client specification.
  • Check that all kitchen tools and equipment are in working order and inform any malfunctioning to the chief cook immediately.
  • Ensure adequate operating knowledge of various kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Check cleanliness and pottering of the service area and equipment.
  • Clear, wash and service all table and eating utensils.
  • Assist in movement and storage of raw materials and equipment, as necessary.
  • Assist the cook in preparation of food items for cooking.
  • Cooperate with superiors for receiving training for upgrading know-how and skills.
  • Perform any other task assigned by his superior within the scope of the job.
