1. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safety & Hazard Control : Prioritize machine and equipment safety by continuously assessing risks and implementing control measures to mitigate hazards.
  • Troubleshooting & Root-Cause Analysis : Lead issue resolution by conducting root-cause analysis and implementing structured preventive and continuous improvement actions.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation : Drive efficiency through improvement projects, Kaizen practices, and systems like Poka-Yoke for error prevention.
  • Maintenance Planning & Execution : Define and oversee maintenance plans with stakeholders, following clear SOPs to ensure timely upkeep of equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance & 5S : Schedule and manage preventive maintenance and promote 5S practices in workshops and assigned areas.
  • Technical Expertise & Advisory : Act as a technical advisor on machinery performance, maintenance strategies, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Project Management & Cost Optimization : Independently lead engineering projects and coordinate with purchasing to optimize costs for parts and equipment.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching : Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of technicians to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Budget & Resource Management : Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and minimize unplanned downtime through effective planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Flexibility : Collaborate with departments to implement TPM programs aligned with production goals and be available for emergency or after-hours work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

a. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Non-degree holder must have at least 8 years of relevant experience in machine preventive and predictive maintenance within a manufacturing setting.

    • b. Behavioral Skills

  • Good safety mindset and be able to address safety requirement and on-going work hazards identification LOTO, work at heights etc.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and planning skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with all levels of people.
  • Positive attitude with ability to cooperate and work effectively to achieve common goals.
  • Proactive and passionate to work with a team on the production floor (on site).
  • Eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and a good team player.

    • c. Technical Skills

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD and Solidworks is an added advantage.
  • Fundamental knowledge in Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Precision systems.
  • Knowledge in Lean or Six Sigma is an added advantage
  • Good skill in mathematics and analytical.
  • Excellent understanding of Computer Applications and Microsoft Office.
