O bjectives of the Position
- Short and mid-term planning (1-12 months horizon) for manufacturing plant. Ensure Finished Goods readiness to meet customers’ required delivery dates
- Replenishment stock planning for imported goods
- Manage inventory to achieve working Supervisor Title capital targets
M ain Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Monthly Supply Planning for Own Manufactured Products
Create monthly production plan to meet Finished Goods requirements based on Actual Orders & Forecasted Demand for Own Manufactured Products (OMP).Communicate and negotiate forecasts received with Demand Planner (DP) and ASEAN Sales Team to meet customer’s demand.Liaise with Raw Material Planner to ensure raw materials availability.Work with site Production Planner to develop Detailed Production ScheduleEnforce planning and order processing-related business rules.Prepare and host monthly planning meeting with Raw Material Planner, Production, Packing & QC teamMaintain close communication with Customer Service team at all times regarding Material Availability. Coordinate closely with Customer Service & PPC on bulk shipment loading plan in order to meet customers’ demandIdentify root causes of deviations of actual production to plan (over & under supply). Thereafter propose & implement sustainable solutions.Simulate different options in shortage scenarios & provide recommendations to Management. Execute allocation plans once aligned with Product Management and Sales.Manage the replenishment of Packaging materialsRepresent Supply Chain Planning team as local Customs liaison with Import Export and Customs & Foreign Trade team with regards to Own Manufactured materialsReplenishment Stock Planning
Plan & maintain sufficient imported finished goods for the merchandise stock business in Malaysia & Singapore.Inventory / Working Capital Management
Manage inventory level in line with the division objective by having adequate finished goods whilst minimizing dysfunctional inventory.Initiate and lead stocks optimization action including. redeployment, reprocess, sell-off and write-off.Reporting & Masterdata maintenance
Maintain and own the rough-cut planning relevant master data in SAP R / 3 and SAP APO. Ensure maintenance of ED material master data to be aligned with Global ED requirements.In coordination with Production team for Bill of Materials (BOM) & recipe of ED Products, ensure data is maintained correctly in SAP systemPrepare plant utilization, inventory and other reportsClear, concise & timely communication to management & stakeholdersJob Requirements (minimum requirement to carry out the work)
Education : Degree Holder (Engineering, Business or Relevant Degree)7 – 8 working experience, with minimum 4 years’ experience in planningExperience in production or liquid manufacturing environment an advantageConversational proficiency in spoken & written EnglishHands on Experience / exposure in the below a definite advantageSAP (APO / SNP) or other planning softwareInventory ManagementImport / Export
