To manage the overall Modern Trade (MT) channel (both Local and International Key Accounts) including sales programmes. The management of sales programmes includes development of short-term and long-term MT channel sales strategy and tactics, in consultation with line management and aligned to company strategic goals. You are to ensure we have a strong MT team that builds strong business relationships with all retail partners and key accounts assigned by ensuring strong 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promo) sales execution of all our brands in the retail outlets to achieve our strategic business objectives. Besides MT (LKA and IKA), The incumbent are also assigned to Lead our Central Sales Operations Team along with the Business Partner. Job Description -Own and achieve annual sales and profit targets of channels / chains and Central region sales operations. -Lead and build a high performing MT / Central sales team under your supervision. -Develop, deploy, execute and measure strategic and tactical sales strategies to achieve our goals. -Ensure all our brands 4Ps fundamentals are better than competition in the stores and sales team are delivering every day great execution for our products. -Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. -Build and maintain a strong collaborative long-lasting customers relationship through periodic JBPs / BRs, effective TTA negotiation and implementation while expanding the company’s customer base of assigned channels. -Effectively communicate the strategic value proposition to our customers through proposals and presentations. -Collaborate effectively with cross-functional members to ensure we meet all required customer service-level targets. -Ensure timely and accurate submission of sales forecasting as per SOP. -To ensure timely collections of all MT customers. -Understand category-specific trends and reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts. -Provide clear KPI direction to our Key Business Partner in Central Region and ensure progressive Coverage and Distribution Performance.   • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets. -Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry with proven ability in managing MT and GT channel. -Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. -Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and position them against competitors. -Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions. -Excellent data analysis, critical-thinking, listening, negotiation and presentation skills. -Excellent verbal and written communications skills. -Bachelor degree or equivalent.
