Designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment / system which is used to control manufacturing / machining equipment, make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
Testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems
Maintain / Upgrade CNCs and its program, reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product.
Inputting the product process design into computer software to generate command code to machines
Writing computer software and test procedures
Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process
Managing vendors to maintain vendor supply control systems.
Working collaboratively with other facility engineers, operation engineers, purchaser and other internal staff
Developing new business proposals.
Training new staff / operators on machine operation procedure
JOB REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree in electronic / electrical / Automatic Control and Systems engineering or equivalent
Proficient in CNC Programing
Extensive experience with CAD / CAM software solutions
Experience / skill in Delta-Tau is added advantage
Good knowledge Electrical or Electronic control hardware / system, PMAC, Siemens; Mitsubishi; GSK; Omron
Knowledge and skills in specific control disciplines, such as : Programmable logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SACDA), Advance Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
An understanding of, and ability to work with, high-level computer technology.
Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong teamworking skills, with an ability to lead / coach others.
