JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment / system which is used to control manufacturing / machining equipment, make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
  • Testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems
  • Maintain / Upgrade CNCs and its program, reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product.
  • Inputting the product process design into computer software to generate command code to machines
  • Writing computer software and test procedures
  • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications

perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process

  • Managing vendors to maintain vendor supply control systems.
  • Working collaboratively with other facility engineers, operation engineers, purchaser and other internal staff
  • Developing new business proposals.
  • Training new staff / operators on machine operation procedure

    • JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic / electrical / Automatic Control and Systems engineering or equivalent
  • Proficient in CNC Programing
  • Extensive experience with CAD / CAM software solutions
  • Experience / skill in Delta-Tau is added advantage
  • Good knowledge Electrical or Electronic control hardware / system, PMAC, Siemens; Mitsubishi; GSK; Omron
  • Knowledge and skills in specific control disciplines, such as : Programmable logic Controllers (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SACDA), Advance Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  • An understanding of, and ability to work with, high-level computer technology.
  • Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong teamworking skills, with an ability to lead / coach others.
