Requirements

  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory management.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse operations.
  • Strong record-keeping and data entry skills.
  • Experience in stock control, material handling, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Knowledge of distribution management principles.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience working with distributors or in the transportation / logistics industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels, locations, and movements, ensuring optimal stock control and minimizing discrepancies.
  • Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies, investigating and resolving any stock variances promptly.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments, into the inventory management system.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including preparing shipping documents, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring proper packaging and labeling of outgoing shipments.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to safely and efficiently move materials within the warehouse, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and shipping / receiving documents, ensuring compliance with record-keeping policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders and efficient flow of materials throughout the supply chain.
