Requirements

  • Candidates possess Bachelor Degree in Logistics Management.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and multitasking.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Purchasing Executive in the Manufacturing field.
  • Fluent in MANDARIN (spoken and written) as this role required to deal with colleagues and vendors from China.
  • Experience in sourcing material from overseas vendors.
  • Able to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of the procurement process from sourcing, negotiating to finalizing orders.
  • Generate Purchase Orders from the MRP system and ensure the goods / materials / services are delivered on time.
  • Maintain Approved Vendor List and continuously monitor the vendor’s performance.
  • Analyse vendor’s quotation and proposals by comparing the price, terms, quality and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with Company’s Purchasing Policies, procedures and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with Production and QC teams to achieve operation efficiencies and participate in process improvement initiatives
