Senior SURF Engineer – Operator client

Job Description

Position is to provide specialist engineering expertise for the design, fabrication and installation of offshore deepwater structures, umbilicals, risers and flowlines in support of company’s deepwater development activities.

Manage execution of SURF (Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline) front end engineering scopes with engineering contractors.

Ensure that all subsea system solutions in support of the project meets the specified functional design criteria and all technical and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate and support the development of contract documents during the tender process for EPC and EPCIC workscopes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent.

With more than 10 years’ experience in SURF subsea concept design of which at least three years in supervisor / project management level.

Overall understanding the totality and disciplines relevant for development of subsea concepts.

In-depth knowledge of field operation involving multiple subsea production / injection centers.

Experience with front-end opportunity appraisal, option evaluation, feasibility assessments and concept development selection.
