Despite a decade of e-commerce in South-East Asia, 80% of electronics is still sold offline. E-Commerce in SEA is very complex with marketplaces, social, live, messengers and brand.com all being important parts of the mix. Offline shops remain a preferred destination with shopping malls offering air condition, convenience and many other entertainment options.
Circular Commerce is enabling brands to leverage on digital channels to curate a loyal audience and fulfil their needs via a full omni-channel presence – online and offline.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Finance Director, you will be responsible for :
- Business Planning : Develop comprehensive financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models, to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Inventory Management : Define systems to manage inventory levels, analyze turnover ratios, and implement strategies to optimize inventory management practices; collaborating across entities to unlock new levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Financial Reporting : Own the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, conduct in-depth financial analysis evaluating company performance, and provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Team Leadership : Grow,lead and supervise the finance team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure both optimal performance as well as professional development of the individuals.
- Compliance : Navigate complex landscape of financial regulations and standards across geographies, ensuring the organization remains steadfastly compliant.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Proven experience (7+ years) in a finance management role, including team and people managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels to drive outcomesExperience with complex organizational structures requiring consolidation of finances across entities / geographies preferredBackground in financial planning, forecasting, and regulations around physical goods in retail and / or manufacturing industryProven track record of implementing process as organizational scale and driving operational excellence.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.BENEFITS
