A) Core Purpose

  • SG-MY Personal Care Sales executive and Asia Pacific Regional Manager for Kenvue,
  • P&L Accountability for dedicated customers
  • Customer level implement of short, mid and long-term measures, including customer approaches, portfolio revision,
  • Identify unmet customer needs to develop and implement ideas and measures for additional value creation.

B) Main Responsibilities, Tasks & Deliverables

Sales development and efficiency, customer intimacy and satisfaction

  • Sustainably achieve sales targets encompassing ccM1, volume & sales, costs, working capital and other business excellence targets such as delivery reliability and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans at the targeted customers.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with Market Development Team and other departments.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to maximize margin.
  • Adapt and develop business models based on BASF product portfolio, market positioning and other competence for value creation appropriate to market development and customer needs.
  • Market intelligence

  • Develop and implement measures to continuously track, report and act upon market intelligence such as market and consumer trends, competitive activities, demand / capacity development, pricing development to ensure BASF’s position as market leader.
  • Establish and capitalize relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.
  • Cost-to-serve and Working capital

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and other colleagues to ensure effective business forecast, payment terms, receivables and credit risk management, appropriate use of Inco terms and achieve all working capital targets.
  • Collaboration

  • Actively collaborate with Market development team for the promotion
  • Seam-less communication with SCM team to ensure stable supply to customers.
  • C) Key Interfaces

  • Local market development team, Regional Product Management, Regulatory and Industry Marketing
  • Regional / Global Key Account Management team
  • Country and Regional SCM
  • Country platform, i.e. country functions
  • External parties including customers, relevant 3rd party partners
  • D) Performance Measures

  • ccM1, Forecast accuracy.
  • SBU strategy implementation
  • Safety and compliance target
  • Positive feedback from peers and partners for collaboration
  • Positive feedback from customers and business partners for effective relationship development, collaboration

  • G) Minimum Education and Qualification Requirement

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or related discipline.
  • Working Experience : 5-10 years’ working experience
  • Other requirements : Well established communication skills
