Penerangan pekerjaanPrepare and submit quotations / tenders. Perform quantity takeoff from construction drawings and specifications to accurately determine material and labor requirements. Prepare and submit progress claims, variations, and final accounts. On-site valuation of work done. Assist in procurement of equipment for project delivery. Assist in QAQC for material submission. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related costs, quantities, and variations. Support the implementation of cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost management and project delivery. Support the preparation of cost reports and analysis to track project performance and identify areas for improvement. KWSP (Employees Provident Fund) contribution included. SOCSO (Social Security Organization) contribution included. Medical claim included. Annual and medical leave shall be in accordance with the prevailing Labour Law.
Requirements
- Proficiency in cost estimation techniques and software for accurate project budgeting.
- Computer literate and numerate.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to perform quantity takeoff from construction drawings and specifications with precision.
- Demonstrated understanding of cost control principles and methods to manage project expenses effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and apply quantity surveying principles in a practical construction environment.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve budget discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to project success.
- Proficient in using relevant software for quantity surveying tasks, such as Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Good attitude and responsible character.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
