Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Proficiently manage claims processing, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.
  • Assist in tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, adhering to established accounting standards.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
  • Support cash flow management activities by monitoring cash balances and preparing cash flow projections.
  • Assist in account management tasks, including maintaining customer and vendor accounts.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbally and in writing, to interact with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting procedures and regulations.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Rawang.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in compliance with established accounting principles.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and vendor communication, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate cash flow management.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and deadlines, while maintaining accurate records for audit purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation, including ledgers, journals, and supporting documents, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate record-keeping for reimbursement purposes.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to inquiries from auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
